Happy New Years Eve! I can not believe that 2017 is coming to a close! This year has gone by so fast and I have had such a great year! I am however looking forward to the new year! I am very excited to see what is in store! At the start of every year I think that everyone creates goals for themselves that they don’t actually follow through with. I personally have never been one to set new goals for myself at the beginning of each year. But there are some things I have been working towards these past few months and am carrying them over to this new year.
One thing I want to continue to work on is to really enjoy all the little things. I am graduating high school in May and although I am very ready to graduate I know that I need to enjoy high school while it lasts.
Another thing I am wanting to work harder on this year on my blog content and Instagram photos. I have had so much fun creating content this past year and want to continue to increase the quality of my content and photos this year!
Throughout the summer I have so much extra time to read and I really enjoy it but during the school year, reading seems to take the back seat. One thing I really want to do this year is just pick up a book and read more! If you guys have any good book recommendations let me know!
Thank you so much for reading today! I hope you enjoyed this post! I hope you all have a wonderful 2018! As always if you have any post requests for this new year please let me know! I love hearing from you! I am excited to see what this year has in store! Thank you for all your support this past year!
Happy New Years! I can’t believe there are only a few days left of 2017 and the new year is quickly approaching! I have received many requests for a New Years Eve outfit inspiration blog post so that is what I am sharing with you today!
In this post I am wearing a simple black t-shirt from Old Navy, a Grey J.Crew skirt, black tights, and a Maroon J.Crew vest. For shoes I have on my favorite monogram flats from Marley Lilly. I also wore my KJP Simply Pearlfect necklace and Pearl Knot bracelet.
Thank you so much for reading this post! As always if you have any post requets please let me know!
I hope you all have a very happy New Year!
Merry Christmas! Because of the holiday I have decided to keep this blog post short and sweet!
I hope you all have a very happy holiday season and you can spend it with all your family and friends!
So my brands have recently released their holiday collections so today I thought it would be fun to share some of my favorites! I am only putting out one gift guide this year but all of the items featured in this post could easily be turned into a gift for someone on your list! Or you could just treat yourself!
Black Earrings|Socks|Flannel Shirt Dress|Pearl Ring|Preppy Christmas Shirt|Bow Earrings|Ruffle Skirt|Red Flats|Christmas Reusable Bag|Deer Foil Top|Booties|Merry and Bright T-Shirt|Nutcracker Long Sleeve|Plaid Skirt
I have been loving statement earrings lately which is weird for me because I have always been very simple when it comes to earrings. However, I think these two pairs are super cute and perfect for the holiday season!
Cozy socks are always perfect for this time of year! I love wearing cute socks with duck boots and even just for hanging out around the house!
Plaid is perfect for this time of year and I love all the different designs and patterns that brands come up with each year! I love this dress from KJP! It looks so comfy and simple but you would still look super put together! You could easily dress it up with some fun jewelry and shoes or dress it down! I also love the new skirts that KJP recently released! They look so perfect for winter! Lastly, I have been seeing a lot of my favorite bloggers wearing similar skirts to this one lately and I have been loving it! Carly and Ashley both styled it so cute and I highly recommend you check out how they styled it because I am sure you will fall in love with it just like I did!
For my day to day life I am either in leggings and a t-shirt or I get dressed up. There is really no in between. For my “lazy days” I love having fun and comfortable t-shirts that are festive during the holidays! As you know I love the Jadelynn Brooke and Southern Girl Prep shirts! Their holiday shirts did not disappoint this year! I have been wearing my Jadelynn Brooke one all the time! If you want a 15% off discount code and some free stickers you can find my codes here!
Every outfit needs the perfect pair of shoes and I love both of these pairs! These booties are super affordable from Old Navy and will go with any outfit! These red flats are so fun and I love the pop of color!
I recently discovered Shop The Mint on Instagram and I have been loving all their new pieces! This Reindeer top is so cute and festive for the holiday! I also love this casual long sleeve that says Merry and Bright! It is so perfect for this time of year and the design is adorable!
Last but not least, this new reusable tote bag from Jadelynn Brooke is so adorable! I love using their reusable bags for photo shoots because they keep all my outfits clean and organized while I am taking photos! I think it would also be super cute to wrap up some gifts in these bags! You can use code MMPSA for 15% off your order and I will send you some fun free stickers!
I hope you all enjoyed this blog post! Thank you so much for reading! As always if you have any blog post requests please let me know! I hope you are all having a wonderful holiday season so far!
Happy Sunday! I’m back today with another “Sunday Snippet” Blog post!
When I first reached out to all of you back in October asking what type of Christmas posts you wanted to see on the blog I got an overwhelming response saying you wanted to hear all about my favorite Christmas movies! I am not much of a movie or TV person but during Christmas when the Hallmark Christmas movies are on I am always watching movies! It is just something about this time of year where I love sitting down with a fire going and watching movies!
I would say my all time favorite type of Christmas movies are definitely the ones from the Hallmark Channel. I am so excited about all the new ones they are releasing this year and the ones I have already seen are so good! There are so many good ones its hard to pick a favorite! If you need me from October to January the chances I am spending all day watching Hallmark movies are pretty high.
I also love the movie Elf, but lets be real who doesn’t?!? This is my go to when I am just in the mood to laugh or when I am multitasking because I practically have the entire movie memorized… please tell me I am not the only one…
There are also just some movies that I feel like are a must every year just because they are definition of Christmas. Some of these are How The Grinch Stole Christmas, The Charlie Brown Christmas Movie, The Polar Express, and so many more!
What are your favorite Christmas movies?
Thank you so much for reading today! As always let me know if you have any posts requests!
